Not many girls want to wear sarees for the formal occasions, especially the teenaged ones. What you need is a smart lehenga set with some embroidery. A deep russet coloured set or a midnight blue one could look gorgeous when it has some zardosi embroidery done on it. But remember that spending too much is also not very wise because the styles in lehenga cholis die out very fast.
